Setting Up Your Venue Profile

Last updated: May 2026

Why your profile matters

Your venue profile is how artists discover you and how your audience follows your shows. A complete profile makes you more attractive to artists looking for the right fit. Incomplete profiles get skipped.

Profile checklist

  • Venue name — your business name exactly as you want it to appear
  • Venue type — the type of space you are: Bar, Brewery, Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Hotel, Outdoor Space, and more
  • Location — your city, state, and zip code so artists and audiences in your market can find you
  • Street address — your full street address so artists know exactly where to show up. Also appears as a Google Maps link on your profile and on confirmed booking cards.
  • Bio — a short description of your space, vibe, and what you offer. 2–3 sentences helps artists decide if you are the right fit.
  • Website — optional but recommended. Your venue website or Facebook page.
  • Photo — a direct image URL showing your space. See the Adding a Photo section below for how to get one.
  • Categories — the types of acts you book: Musicians, DJs, Comedians, Trivia Hosts, Experience Hosts, and more. This is how artists filter to find venues that match what they do.

Adding a photo

LynqWyre uses a photo URL — a direct link to an image already hosted online. You are not uploading a file. The URL must end in .jpg, .png, or .webp.

From your own website: right-click the photo (or Control-click on Mac), select Copy Image Address, paste into the Photo URL field on your profile edit page. Your own website is the most reliable source.

From Facebook: open your Facebook page in a desktop browser — not the mobile app. Click your cover photo or any venue photo to open it full size. Right-click the image (or Control-click on Mac), select Copy Image Address, paste.

From Google Maps: search your venue name in Google Maps on a desktop browser. Click a photo in your listing to open it. Right-click the image (or Control-click on Mac), select Copy Image Address, paste.

Note: Some websites block external use of their images. If your photo does not appear after saving, try a different source. Your own website is usually most reliable.

Adding your street address

Your street address appears as a tappable Google Maps link on your public profile and on confirmed booking cards so artists can navigate directly to your venue. Go to your profile edit page and enter your full street address in the Street Address field.

How to save your profile

  1. 1.Go to your venue dashboard.
  2. 2.Click Edit Profile.
  3. 3.Fill in your details.
  4. 4.Click Save.

You stay on the edit page after saving so you can keep making changes. Your profile is updated immediately.

Tip: Artists browse venue profiles when deciding whether to apply for an open date. A profile with a photo, clear bio, and listed categories tells artists exactly what kind of acts you are looking for and what your space is like.
