Creating a Promotion for Your Audience

What is a promotion?

Promotions let you offer deals and discounts directly to Lynqd audience members in your market — a buy one get one, a free item, a discount, whatever you want to offer to bring people in. You set the terms. You honor it at your discretion.

How to create a promotion

1. 1.Go to your venue nav and click Promos.
2. 2.Click Create Promotion.
3. 3.Enter a title and description for the offer.
4. 4.Add any terms or usage limits — for example: one per visit, valid with $20 purchase.
5. 5.Set an expiry date if applicable, or leave blank to keep it active indefinitely.
6. 6.Save.

How audience members redeem

Audience members show the promotion on their phone screen. There is no code to enter or claim button to tap — you honor it at your discretion when they show you the screen.

Notifications

When you create a promotion, all Lynqd audience members who follow your venue receive a New Promo notification instantly. The Promos tab badge on their nav also updates.

Managing your promotions

• •Promotions with an expiry date disappear from the audience Promos tab automatically when the date passes.
• •Promotions without an expiry date stay active until you deactivate or delete them.
• •Toggle active/inactive to temporarily hide a promo without deleting it.
• •Delete removes a promotion permanently.
