Setting Up Your Artist Profile

Why your profile matters

Your profile is how venues discover you. A complete, accurate profile makes you significantly more likely to receive Handshake requests and get booked.

Profile checklist

• •Display name — your artist or band name as you want it to appear
• •Category — musician, DJ, comedian, etc.
• •Genres — select the genres that best describe your sound or style
• •Location — your city, state, and zip code displays on your profile so venues and audiences know where you're based. Use the Markets section below to select every market where you're available to perform — this is what determines which open dates you see and which audience members you match with. You can select multiple markets.
• •Bio — a short description venues will read before deciding to book you
• •Photo — a clear photo helps venues recognize and remember you
• •Website — optional, but a strong signal of professionalism. If you don't have a website, your Facebook page, Instagram profile, or any link where venues can learn more about you works just as well.
• •YouTube — optional, shows your performance directly on your profile

Adding a photo

LynqWyre uses a photo URL — a direct link to an image already hosted online. You are not uploading a file.

1. 1.Find a photo of yourself or your act on your website, Facebook page, or Google listing.
2. 2.Right-click the photo and select Copy Image Address.
3. 3.Paste the URL into the Photo URL field on your profile.

The URL must end in .jpg, .png, or .webp to display correctly.

Adding YouTube

Paste your YouTube channel or video URL into the YouTube field. Enable the embed toggle to show the video player directly on your profile page.

How to save your profile

1. 1.Go to your artist dashboard.
2. 2.Tap Edit Profile.
3. 3.Fill in or update your fields.
4. 4.Tap Save.

After saving, the page stays on the edit screen so you can continue making changes. Your profile is updated immediately.
